Miguel Sanchez serves as President and CEO of Gold Quest Group, LLC, a top-tier direct lender, financial brokerage, and syndication firm of Residential, Commercial, and Heavy Industrial financing. Mr. Sanchez has over 22 years of extensive lending experience and has cultivated relationships within the business sectors on all levels: local, national, and international. As one of the most respected lenders in Texas, he is recognized for partnerships that have produced the most notable developments in real estate. His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for real estate, finance, and development are attributed to his deeply rooted influence from an early age. Mr. Sanchez's vision remains steadfast in his commitment to growth and leveraging opportunities.

Patrick Ashiofu

Vice President

Patrick Ashiofu is a Texas licensed realtor, who has been licensed and practicing commercial and residential real estate in the state of Texas for over 20 years. Mr. Ashiofu provides exceptional professionalism and a unique level of personal dedication to his clients. He is a multi-million-dollar producer and has won numerous awards in real estate. He is consistently recognized as one of the top realtors in Texas by H-TEXAS MAGAZINE. Mr. Ashiofu is involved in the development and selling of various single-family homes, high-rises, retail centers, industrial complexes, and office buildings. He is a member of numerous realtor associations and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate from the University of Houston.

Joaquin Altenberg

Chief Financial Officer

Joaquin has spent most of his career building, financing and investing in real estate, technology and financial services companies. He began his career on Wall Street structuring asset backed securities for Salomon Smith Barney, and Citigroup Investments. He went on to lead investments for Citigroup in real estate and specialty finance companies. While in business school, he started a loan structuring company which became a bond reinsurance and issuance company that went public, American Capital Access. Joaquin also served as senior investment member of Lazard's Venture Capital group investing in fintech business. These experiences have guided his career and has enabled him to scale businesses in renewable energy, mobile home and assisted living platforms and other specialized lending companies.

He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Luis Beita

Vice President

Luis Beita is an experienced manager with over 15 years of experience in the remodeling and construction industry and is known for his ability to make and build relationships in all aspects of business. He has held management positions with several multinational corporations, and previously served as Director for Latin America for an international valve company, opening markets and establishing brands in various countries including Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Mr. Beita is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Ankit Amin

Vice President

Ankit Amin has been in the mortgage business since 2003 and has been responsible for origination and closing on over $1.5 Billion in commercial loans. Mr. Amin is also a hands-on investor and a lender. Mr. Amin currently holds positions as President of Commercial Lending at GoldQuest Group and as a partner in the commercial lending business. Mr. Amin is an avid traveler and loves a well-planned or impromptu trip with his wife and two daughters. Mr. Amin holds a Bachelor of Finance degree from University of Houston.

Carey W. Cooley

Strategy / Finance

Carey Cooley has nearly 30 years of experience leading & mentoring emerging growth companies. After founding a software consulting firm during the dot-com boom, Mr. Cooley spent most of the last 20 years as a strategic business consultant. He has extensive knowledge of the day-to-day operations of running a rapidly growing business, including developing the company's vision and business plan, managing personnel, implementing IT solutions, negotiating contracts, and securing debt and equity funding. Mr. Cooley was nominated for the 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
